Receptionist/Office Admin Assistant
Custom cabinet shop seeking full-time showroom receptionist and office administrative assistant. Must have excellent organizational skills, a friendly phone presence, have exceptional interpersonal skills and be proficient with MS Office. Knowledge of QuickBooks is desirable. This successful candidate will demonstrate either their knowledge of cabinetry and wood products or an exceptional eagerness to learn.
Job responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming calls from customers and vendors.
- Greet customers as they enter the showroom, assist them up to the point of introduction to their salesman.
- Deliver “Will Call” orders to customers that come to the showroom for pick up – ensure that correct payment is collected from customers.
- Create initial customer invoices from signed contracts.
- Maintain a general email account and ensure appropriate replies are sent.
- Support sales team by sending emails and bids to potential customers.
- Maintain a neat and clean showroom and inform the operations manager if samples run low.
- Filing and general office tasks.
- Ensure that the break room is ready for the crew at break time.
Skills required:
- Ability to multi-task several projects at a time.
- Computer skills – command of word processing, spreadsheets and Microsoft Access is a must.
- Independent thinker with the ability to do research and problem-solve.
- Professional appearance and presentation required.
Other requirements:
- Must be punctual and have an excellent attendance record.
- Must have reliable transportation to the worksite in Newcastle, WA.

- Shift: Monday – Thursday 7:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. (32 hours/week)
- Excellent benefits package after the introductory period of 90 days.
- Salary: $24.00 - $26.00/hour. Hourly rate dependent on ability.
The position will begin towards the bottom of the wage scale and will increase as skills are demonstrated.
